• 5 Ways to Wellbeing

  So far this year, we have been thinking a lot about our mental health and well-being and how we can keep our mind happy and healthy through the 5 Ways to Wellbeing.

  Has your child ‘Noticed’ something recently? Have they been ‘Active’ after school? Have the been ‘Learning’? Have they shown an ‘Act of Kindness’ or ‘Connected’ with people around them? If so, they’ve been helping to keep their mind healthy and happy!

  

• The 401 Challenge

  This term all children in school are embarking upon the ‘Ben 401 USA challenge’ with the 401 Foundation which is a mental heath charity, aiming to help people empower themselves. We are aiming to complete 14,000 virtually across all the US states.

• Euros 2020 Final England v Italy Sunday 11th July 2020 at 8pm

  We would like all families to be able to enjoy the football together on Sunday without worrying about tired children in the morning.

  Registers will be left open until 10.30am on Monday to allow children to sleep in later.

  School will be open at normal time for all those wishing to come as usual, as will breakfast club.

• Accelerated Readers

  Congratulations to Connor (Y4) who's at the top of our Accelerated Reader leader board.  He's read a total of 977,659 words!  Will he get to the Millionaires Club by Christmas?  Well done to Mair (Y6) who has read over half a million words - 645,579 words in total.  

  All the Key Stage 2 classes are up for the challenges in Accelerated Reader.  Super effort by all the children - keep reading!

   

  

• Harvest Festival Donations for Grantham Foodbank
