At St. Sebastian's, we believe that PE plays a vital role in developing children’s confidence, self-esteem and wellbeing. In PE lessons, children are provided with the opportunity to develop their physical and mental capabilities, through practise, scaffolding and guidance. Our PE curriculum has been designed to encourage children to self-reflect, motivate and challenge themselves in a range of physical activities including team games, gymnastics, athletics, dance and ball games. It is our aim that when children leave our school, they leave with an understanding of how to lead an active and healthy lifestyle, both physically and mentally.
P.E. Statement of Intent
