P.E.
We started to look at our new unit of learning in P.E. and have enjoyed learning a new set of skills needed to play tag rugby. Elephants practised their new found skills in some game situations and in a variety of exercises.
Art
Elephants have enjoyed designing their own reading spaces by working collaboratively to fit a design brief and using lots of colours to do so.
P.E. - Team Games
Computing - Micro:bit
Elephants have explored cases for their Micro:bits, through looking at sustainable and inexpensive methods. We had some great designs and models.
Geography - Coastlines
For our Geography topic, we looked at the erosion of the coast using crackers, to represent rocks! The children had to crumble them to show mechanical erosion and had to dissolve them in their mouths, to represent chemical erosion - it was great fun!
Science - Forces
Elephants made zip lines on the field, to test different variables and to observe how forces act upon objects.
