School Uniform

St. Sebastian's pupils wear their school uniform with pride and it reflects their desire and keenness to learn.  St Sebastian's is very proud of the school uniform as it plays a valuable role in contributing to the ethos of the school and setting an appropriate tone.

In addition, boys should wear charcoal grey trousers and girls charcoal grey skirts, trousers or pinafore dresses.  During the summer months, girls may wear blue and white gingham dresses as an alternative.

P.E. & Games - ALL pupils should have their PE kit in school every day.

Children need plimsolls for indoor PE and trainers for outside games.

A navy or black tracksuit top or fleece may be worn during the colder months when participating in outdoor activities. However, as an alternative, children will be allowed to wear their school sweatshirts/jumpers


All jewellery must be removed for PE. If a pupil has pierced ears and is unable to remove them themselves micro-pore tape should be provided to ensure the stud is completely covered. 


Long hair must be tied back in order to prevent entanglement in apparatus and to prevent it obscuring vision. This is applicable to both girls and boys for indoor and outdoor PE.


Please note: football boots, shin pads and football kits will only be required for lunchtime or after-school practices and matches.


Swimming (Key Stage 2 only)

Children require swimsuit/trunks, swim cap (available from the Leisure Centre) and a towel.
