  • Christmas Jumper Day and Santa Dash Non Uniform Day

    Wed 30 Nov 2022

This year our Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day will take place on Friday 9th December.

We will also be taking part in a 'Santa Dash' on this day, where classes will take turns to run various routes in the playground listening to Christmas music, and taking part in challenges set by our 'Reindeers'.

This will be a non uniform day but we would encourage all children to wear a Christmas Jumper for a small donation to show support for 'Save the Children'

As we will be running outside, could children please wear comfortable clothes and trainers

  • Operation Christmas Child Appeal - Thank You

    Tue 22 Nov 2022

Here at St Sebastian's CE Primary School, we are all overwhelmed by the donations for our Operation Christmas Child boxes. They are taking over our reception area as there are so many which is fantastic.

Thank you to all who have supported this charity.

  • Breakfast Club - Changes to Drop Off

    Thu 17 Nov 2022

We have reviewed our Breakfast Club arrangements and have changed how the children will go into club.

The main gates will no longer be open for Breakfast Club.

Please bring your child/ren in via the main office.

Upon arrival if there is no one in the office please ring the bell (attached to the frame near the office window) and wait for a member of staff to arrive.

It is really important that parents/carers wait with the children until a member of staff arrives. The school cannot take any responsibility for the children until they are greeted by staff.

    Many thanks

  • PTFA Christmas Raffle

    Tue 15 Nov 2022

    Our Christmas raffle is back

Our biggest fundraiser of the year!

We need your help to source some raffle prizes.

    • Do you know a local business who could donate?
    • Are you happy to reach out to companies on our behalf?
    • Could you donate an item for the big Christmas hamper?

If the answer is yes,  then please take any donations to school reception or email us at stseb.ptfa@gmail.com to let us know you can help and would like a copy of our raffle request letter.

All prizes would need to be at school by Friday 9th December at the latest. The earlier we have prizes the more we can promote the kind business who are donating.

A huge thank you to those wonderful people who have donated already.

    Shout outs to

    • Hayes theatre and Ropsley Heath Cafe & Farmshop.

    Mon 07 Nov 2022

On Friday 18th November 2022 we are inviting children to come to school in non uniform for a donation of £1 to support Children in Need.

  • Inspire+ Apprentice of the Month

    Thu 03 Nov 2022

Oscar Parnham is the Inspire+ October Apprentice of the Month

Well done to our amazing Mr Parnham. Very well deserved.

Thank you for everything you do for all the children at school. You are a superstar and we would be lost without you!

Here are some of the compliments he received from his mentor about going above and beyond his duties:

    • helping students who can get frustrated and need a one-on-one approach;
    • running a variety of after-school clubs; maintaining the behaviour of the children around the school.

“We are so pleased he is staying on to do his level 4 as he would’ve left a hole in the school which would have been almost impossible to fill.”

    Well Done, Oscar!
