'Together In Faith, We Aspire To Achieve Excellence'

We are a friendly school with lots of big and exciting ideas!  We have around 166 pupils arranged in seven classes with a highly dedicated teaching staff, assisted by a fantastic support team.

The school prides itself on its high quality exciting curriculum. Our School Vision of ‘Together in Faith, We Aspire to Achieve Excellence’ is central to our school. The children are passionate about achieving excellence in their learning, in their friendships with other children and adults, and in their attitudes towards school.  This ensures that all our pupils make outstanding progress and love to be here!

We are a caring team of pupils, staff, parents and governors who work hard to engage with all of our community here in Great Gonerby and beyond. We emphasise our inclusive, family feeling by supporting everyone in school and focus on developing the whole child – academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

We are proud of our outstanding school and work hard to ensure we demonstrate our Christian values throughout our learning and actions.

I am very proud to say I am the Headteacher here at St Sebastian’s.

Elaine Bedford

Leaders provide many opportunities for pupils to become responsible citizens. The school's curriculum ensures that pupils are well prepared for life beyond their primary school. Pupils learn to be tolerant. Pupils have a strong sense of moral purpose. The school council makes sure leaders are considerate of the environment.
