If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.

Admission Arrangements for 2024-2025

Every year, we welcome a brand new cohort of Reception children to our St Sebastian's family.

Children who are born between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020 are due to start Reception in September 2024.

If your child does fit within that category, you can apply for a school place online, between 15th November 2023 until the deadline of 15th January 2024 (national closing date).

Online admissions for late or changes to applications re-opens 17th April 2024 and closes 17th May 2024

All applications are done through the Lincolnshire County Council admissions website.  Lincolnshire parents can apply online by clicking here for the link to Lincolnshire County Council's admissions page or call 01522 782030.

If applicants live outside of Lincolnshire then they need to apply to their home Local Authority even if they want a school in Lincolnshire.

If a parent or carer needs support with the application process due to a variety of reasons such as literacy issues or a language barrier please feel free to contact the Education Team on 01522 782030 or email:  schooladmissions@lincolnshire.gov.uk

Timetable for Offer Dates and Appeals

School Appeals

Before you appeal

You have the right to appeal if your child does not get a place at Saint Sebastian's C of E Primary School.

There are three types of appeal:

  • For the September intake of reception appeals are held in blocks during late spring and summer.
  • For midyear applications, appeals should be heard within 30 school days of being received.
  • For a child with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan, you must contact your case worker.
